Clean Up Day
Yesterday the year 7 & 8's of Winton School went down to clean it up Marshalls Creek! We have a great success cleaning up because we only went down the creek 450 metres and collected 260kg's of rubbish! We cleaned up from Winton New World to the Macks panel and paints. We decided to clean up there because there was heaps of rubbish there than anywhere else along the creek. It goes to show that Marshalls Creek is full of rubbish!

Success tastes great
We will be picking things up like this! |
We will be staying far away from this ! |
Hello again! We have had a great success we have won a Dairy NZ award of $100 each! But the best thing was that we were the only people from Winton School to get an award! We are very proud and are more than happy to follow up on this! We will still be holding I clean up day on the 26th of September! So see you there!

Clean up time
Did you know that the clean up day is coming up! On the 26th of September we will be holding a clean up day! Winton School is going to come down and give a big hand! We would love to see some new faces so come and help! But remember to bring your gum boots because it's a really big job!
- First we are going to make sure that Winton community are aware that it is happening!
- Next we are going to get and many helping hands as possible and get started!
- We are also going to go to Environment Southland to ask if Marshall creek and be in the 'Living streams Programme'
- Near the end of the project we will go to the Winton Community board about where that have put the drains and why they have put them there! We would also like to ask the about how they can get urban people to clean the stormwater a little!
